About
Hello,
my name is Stephan and i have just started developing wordpress themes. The theme currently activated on my website is called Dialogue and i am currently working on a more colored theme called crimson sky. I hope this theme will – on day – be part of the wordpress theme directory as well =) I will keep you posted!

Hi
I just downloaded your Dialogue theme, uploaded to my hosted server and then activated within the wp dashboard. The problem I have is that there is no colour or image. Its just all white space. I’ve checked the file folder and I have definitely uploaded all files. I’m using wordpress 2.7. Is this theme compatible with version 2.7? Do you know what I need to do to correct?

I’m so sorry to bother you again. But I have TWO search boxes on my home page. One appears at the top of the sidebar, and the other is in the proper spot below it, under “Search.” How can I eliminate the one at the top of the sidebar?

Don’t mind! You are using widgets aren’t you? Open archivbar.php and sidebar.php with a text editor and delete the second line “include(Templepath…..)”
That should fix your problem, i will release an update to fix this issue soon!

Great theme, just wondering what the best way is to get rid of one of the 2 sidebars so that the main content text spans across the page further… many thanks

I am using your theme on a new website and have ran into a problem with it not displaying the drop down list for page Templates when creating or editing in pages. I’ve been reading several solutions, one suggested that WordPress did not like the string “Template” inside of comments on their stylesheet but I cannot find any lines with /* Main Template or /* Auxiliary Template in your SS to make changes to. I’m still actively searching for a solution on my own because I really like your theme but I also need to have different templates to use on my pages so if you have an idea about what I could tweak to fix this, please do share it with us. Thanks.

I noticed you had a mew release on the dialogue theme. It is a fantastic theme, or was, and I was thrilled. I downloaded it and found something has happened beyond my very limited understanding of css and i ask your help.
If you go and look at the right column you’ll see the Pluck additions under More On The Topic, and the print is just too light. It has completely thrown off the grounding of the entire theme for my use. It was a bit light originally, so I fooled around until I got the print darker blue, certainly a bit darker than the backround on the actual backpage.
I cannot do that this time. Could you please let me know how I could get a darker print to show up? 00404D would be closer to what I’d like.
Any help is so appreciated.
best,
Brian Ribertson

I have translated your theme into Danish because it is very nice.
I have a couple of suggestions for you. Perhaps you could mail me so that I could get in touch with you per email?
All the best,
Georg

Stephan, quick question. I have downloaded your theme. The only issue I have is I can’t seem to figure out how to get rid of the “Just Another Wordpress Blog” subheading under my title. I’ve looked over most of the files and I can’t seem to figure out where the code is that is putting that up there. Can you tell me where, please?

Never mind. I found it.

How do I change the Header to read something other then my web address?
Sunday, 15. November 2009 20:37
Dear Stephan,
Thank you for the wonderful theme! Did you also build the sneaker theme using the “Dialouge” template? It looks like yours, but more of a webpage feel.
Thanks’ again!
Edward

@George:
What do you want to write there? You can either directly type in the text you want be editing “header.php” or go to wp-admin -> general settings -> tagline

Hi – I love the crimson sky theme but I think it is conflicting with a javascript slider I’m trying to create…
Can you please help? I think it has something to do with “script.js”
Thanks.
Here is my page where i am attempting to implement…
It works almost fine but the image doesn’t scroll:

Thanks again!
I really really like this theme and don’t want to have to change it just for a featured content slider

Hi Stephan,
thank you for your “crimson sky” template. Is there any way how to get the .pot file so I can translate it to another (CS-cz) language?
Thanks Begis

Really enjoying working with your dialogue theme, but I’ve run into a problem; I work on a mac and use only Safari and Firefox. I sent a working copy of a blog that started with your theme to my friend, an IE user, and he said that the background is not white, but the background (“back.jpg”) color. I guess “main.jpg” isn’t showing up on top of the background in IE.
Did I mess this up somewhere while editing? Is there a simple fix?

Thanks for your help.

Good Morning, I’ve recently downloaded Crimson Sky , from WordPress themes, for my leadership blog. Love it! Please instruct me on how to adjust the font types and font size on this theme. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello, Stephen! I love this theme. Wondering if you could help with a couple of things. First, I’d like to insert a line after the post header and before the post footer, just to break it up for the eye. Second, I would like to replace the post date with a calendar icon. I’ve found this website, http://bloggeruniversity.blogspot.com/2008/01/using-calendar-icon-as-post-date-header.html, but I can’t find the codes that they are referencing. Can you advise? Thanks, Michelle

Hi Stephen. I just downloaded your theme, but I’m having a bit of trouble with it. Just below the title of this theme, I have the following line.
Wednesday, 27. January 2010 15:50 | Autor:Marilynne | Eintrag bearbeiten
All is fine until I get to Eintrag bearbeiten. How do I change this?
Monday, 1. February 2010 17:23
@Michelle,
i will take a look into it and send you an email.
@Marilynne:
Oh, thanks for the info. Where you found this bug, on the main site or when you read a single post/page?

Thursday, 4. February 2010 18:48
Hi Stephan,
Very sad to see that when I updated the theme to its latest update all scripts changed to German! Could you please see to this, because the only option I have is to delete all and every post (impossible) and start again.
A very troubled user of what should have been a great theme.
Robert.

Hi Stephen,
Love the theme!
The only thing I want to change is the way the comments show up.
I would like to reply to a comment and have my reply placed directly underneath the post I am replying to, and have it be indented (or another color), so it can be differentiated from the others.
How can I do this?
Thursday, 11. March 2010 6:22
First I wanted to thank you for your theme, I am using it currently and love its simplicity and its stability. I am writing you in hopes I would be able to get some direction on a change within the theme.
I am trying to remove all meta data from the bottom of posts and pages. I.E the author, date, url, and comments and pings, so that it looks like a normal no blog page.
Can you please offer some assistance?
Thank you in advance.
Monday, 15. March 2010 11:58
Hello Scott,
remove the code between line 26 and 39 (div id info up to the closing div elemtent)
This will remove the complete meta data

I am using Dialogue and like it very much. I am using for a static website rather than a blog however and would like to remove the icon of the folder with “Author: admin, Date: and Trackback” listed next to it. Would you please tell me hoe to remove this, I appreciate it. I also am not very technical.
